How to increase the knowledge and competency in ISO 9001:2015
When we are going to maintain our knowledge and competency
about ISO 9001:2015 after a successful audit of ISO 9001 Certification in the organization. It grows
your thought.
For the improvement in the credibility and competency of the organization there is no any prescribed way but here are some ideas that may
increase the potential activity of your organization.
As per the
ISO 9001:2015 clause 7.2 & 7.3 requirements, each organization needs dedication to training, competency, and awareness.
Knowledge
about the standard should be mandatory for each employee in the organization.
Include a number of training sessions where the end of the session ask everyone about the standard and applicability according to the size of the organization.
Always
insure that leader team member should have proper fundamental knowledge about
the standard.
Create a “fun” questionnaire for staff to test their ongoing knowledge
– schedule and plan your training on the basis of where you perceive the gaps
to be.
Critically, ensure that you record your evidence of training and
communication in the Training Matrix to show that this has taken place on an
ongoing basis.
There
is a simple step for the improvement in competency and awareness about the
standard. In terms of any changes in legislation, ensure that the details are
communicated, any questions answered, and training evidence recorded. Because
“More knowledge generates more choices and better choices provides better
result”.
